Tori is originally from Vancouver, Canada, now calling Brisbane home after living here for almost a decade! She previously represented Canada in women's basketball- since sustaining bilateral ACL reconstructions during her career, she decided to pursue clinical healthcare as a passion for rehabilitation and performance.
Tori holds two degrees- from the University of Queensland with a dual major in Communications and Sociology, and from the University of the Sunshine Coast for Clinical Exercise Physiology. Tori believes these two pathways in education have ultimately led her to the success she
experiences professionally- with a highly developed set of interpersonal skills, clinical and critical thinking, coupled with a comprehensive sporting background gives Tori an edge on her treatment methods
with clients using a compassionate and analytical lens.
Tori has worked in private practice as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist since 2019. Clinical Exercise Physiology utilizes the principle of ‘Exercise as Medicine’- this means the treatment modality for clients with a non-communicable disease (non-transferrable, caused by unhealthy behaviors or injury) is through expertly prescribing exercise.
